- Start a remote desktop session on MRS-RDP and login with your admin credentials.
- Open Group Policy Management via the Server Manager > Tools > Group Policy Management.
- Find the "Default Domain Policy", click on Settings to view the current account lockout settings. Or right click the policy and click "Edit" to edit the policy.
- If editing, click on Computer Configuration > Windows Settings > Security Settings > Account Policies > Account Lockout Policy.
- Start a remote desktop session on RLA-DC01 with your admin credentials.
- From Server Manager, click on Tools > Active Directory Administrative Center.
- Click on Mopt (local) > System > Password Settings Container
- Right click each of these policies, and click Properties.
- Change "Account will be locked out" > "For a duration of (mins)", and "Reset failed logon attempts count after" settings and click OK.
