Rainbird tablet remote desktop connection

Follow this instruction set when using the horticulture iPad or Samsung tablet.

Sign in

1. Unlock the tablet using its respective pin.
    
    
2. Open the app list by swiping up from the bottom of the screen on the Samsung tablet, or to the right on iPad, then tap GlobalProtect.

4. Enter your work username and password, then tap sign in.
    
   
   
5. Enter your work email address, then tap next, then enter your password.
   
    
6. When prompted, confirm your sign in on your authenticator app.
   
   
   
7. If prompted to remember your credentials, ensure you tap No.
    
8. You will then be connected to the GlobalProtect VPN.
   
    
9. Navigate back to the home screen, open the app list and then open the Windows App to remote onto the Rainbird system.
   
    
10. There will only be one computer under PC Connections, tap on that computer to connect.
    
     
11. Enter your credentials for the Rainbird system, these is NOT your Melbourne Park account details. Then tap Continue.
    
    
    
12. Tap Connect when the certificate verification prompt appears.
    
     
13. The client will then connect to the server. 
    
     

Sign off

1. Tap on the windows logo in the middle of the remote desktop toolbar.
    
   
   
2. Tap on the x for the 10.21.105.2 connection to close the remote session.
   
    
3. Open GlobalProtect and tap on the three lines in the top left hand corner.
   
    
4. Then click Sign Out in the bottom left hand corner.
    
   
   
5. You have signed out successfully.
