Solution 1: Power Reset Using Reset Button (For Models with Pinhole Reset)

  1. Disconnect All Power Sources:

    • Unplug the charging adapter.
    • Disconnect from any docking station or external devices.
  2. Locate the Reset Button:

    • Check the bottom of the laptop for a small pinhole reset button.
  3. Perform a Power Reset:

    • Use a small pin or paperclip to gently press and hold the reset button for 5 seconds.
  4. Turn the Laptop Back On:

    • Press the power button and check if the laptop starts normally.

         



Solution 2: Battery Disconnection (For Models Without a Reset Button)

If the laptop does not have a reset button, follow these steps:

  1. Power Off & Unplug Everything:

    • Ensure the laptop is completely powered off.
    • Unplug the charger and remove all peripherals.
  2. Open the Laptop (Requires Tools):

    • Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the bottom screws.
    • Carefully pry open the bottom cover.
  3. Disconnect the Internal Battery:

    • Locate the battery connector (usually a small cable connecting the battery to the motherboard).
    • Gently unplug the battery cable from the motherboard.
  4. Reconnect the Battery & Close the Laptop:

    • Plug the battery connector back in.
    • Reattach the bottom cover and secure the screws.
  5. Turn the Laptop On:

    • Press the power button to see if it starts normally.
